Why 24k Gold?
The main difference between 14k, 18k, and 24k gold lies in their purity levels, which affect their color, durability and price.
14k Gold:
14k gold contains 58.3% pure gold and 41.7% other metals such as copper, silver, or palladium. It’s less expensive because it has less gold in it. 14k gold is popular for everyday jewelry pieces like wedding bands and engagement rings because it offers a good compromise between durability and value.
18k Gold
This is 75% pure gold, with the remaining 25% being composed of other metals like copper, silver or palladium. 18k gold is often preferred as good jewelry as it offers a good balance between purity and durability. It has a rich golden color, more than 14k because it has more pure gold in it.
24k Gold
24k gold is pure gold with no added metals. It is composed of 99.9% gold with very little alloy mixed in. This where 24k LIFE gets its slogan “Pure Gold Nothing Less”.
